Metta Protocol Foundation is committed to making our website and platform usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities, in line with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508.
1. Conformance target
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort; some parts of the platform may not yet meet the target.
2. Measures we take
- Keyboard-operable navigation and skip links.
- Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and screen-reader labels.
- Sufficient color contrast and scalable text.
- Alt text on informational images and captions on video where feasible.
- Accessible form labels, focus indicators, and error messages.
- Periodic audits by our engineering team and third-party reviewers.
3. Assistive technology tested with
Recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android).
4. Known limitations
- Some third-party embeds (charts, videos, wallet modals) may not fully conform.
- Older blog posts may lack alt text; we backfill on discovery.
5. Feedback & alternative formats
If you experience an accessibility barrier or need content in an alternative format, email accessibility@mettaprotocol.app. We aim to respond within 5 business days and provide the requested information within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Enforcement
If your concern is not resolved, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice or your state Attorney General.
