Metta Protocol Foundation operates several programs that compensate users, creators, and third parties for bringing new participants to the MEPR ecosystem. This page describes those programs and the material connections that trigger FTC disclosure obligations.
1. Programs that pay a material connection
- Referral bounties — users receive $MEPR or other rewards when their referrals complete KYC, purchase $MEPR, or stake.
- Ambassador program — Ambassadors receive tokens, cash, or event access for hitting content and community targets.
- KOL program — Key Opinion Leaders receive tokens and/or revenue share for campaign posts.
- Creator monetization — creators receive tips (85% after 15% platform fee) and can earn subscription and paid-post revenue.
- Launchpad revenue share — certain launchpad campaigns pay a percentage to the referring party.
2. What that means for readers
When you see a post, review, or recommendation about MEPR from a Promoter enrolled in one of the programs above, assume they receive compensation. Approved disclosures are described in our Endorsement Guidelines.
3. Editorial independence
MEPR does not condition payment on positive coverage. Promoters may share honest negative feedback and remain in the program. Suppressing honest negative reviews violates our policies.
4. Reporting undisclosed affiliate content
If you believe a promoter is not disclosing a material connection, report it to trust@mettaprotocol.app.
