This page lists regulatory notices relevant to Metta Protocol Foundation's operation of MEPR. It is updated as our licensing and registration posture evolves. Numbered registration IDs render as placeholders where we have not yet obtained the underlying registration.
1. FinCEN Money Services Business ("MSB") notice
Metta Protocol Foundation is subject to U.S. Bank Secrecy Act obligations to the extent it engages in convertible virtual currency ("CVC") activities defined as money transmission under 31 CFR 1010.100(ff). Where applicable, FinCEN MSB registration number: [MSB Registration Number].
2. State money-transmitter notices
Certain U.S. states regulate the transmission of virtual currency. Where MEPR is not licensed in a given state, we do not offer money transmission or currency-exchange services in that state and restrict features accordingly. Current status:

3. New York BitLicense

MEPR is not registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") as an e-money issuer, payments institution, or authorized firm. MEPR has not obtained a MiCAR authorization in the European Union. Users in these jurisdictions access MEPR on the basis of the applicable local rules and their own responsibility.
5. No deposit insurance
Digital assets held via MEPR are not deposits at a bank, are not insured by the FDIC or SIPC, and are not covered by any government deposit-insurance scheme. See Crypto Disclosures.
