This page sets the rules every paid or incentivized promoter of MEPR / $MEPR ("Promoter") must follow. It is contractually binding on Key Opinion Leaders ("KOLs"), Ambassadors, affiliates, referral partners, contest winners, gifted-token recipients, and any employee, contractor, or advisor of Metta Protocol Foundation who posts about MEPR publicly.
1. Mandatory disclosure
Every post, video, story, reel, livestream, email, or DM promoting MEPR must contain a clear and conspicuous disclosure of the material connection between the Promoter and Metta Protocol Foundation. Approved disclosures include #ad, #sponsored, #partner, #MEPRAmbassador, or a full-sentence equivalent such as "I'm paid by MEPR to share this."
- Disclosure must appear before a user has to click "more."
- On video, disclosure must be visible on-screen and spoken aloud.
- On audio spaces or podcasts, disclosure must be spoken at the start.
- A single hashtag buried among 20 others is not "clear and conspicuous."
2. No fabricated experience
Promoters must actually use the product they endorse. Do not describe features you have not personally tried, do not stage screen recordings that misrepresent app behavior, and do not repost another person's results as your own.
3. No "typical results" without substantiation
Do not claim or imply that MEPR purchasers, stakers, or launchpad participants achieved a specific return unless (a) you can prove that result is typical for participants generally, or (b) you display an equally prominent qualifier such as "Not typical. Past performance does not guarantee future results." See our Earnings Disclaimer.
4. No price predictions or investment advice
Promoters may not make price predictions, promise returns, use language like "guaranteed," "risk-free," "moonshot," or "10x," or otherwise imply $MEPR is an investment. See our No Investment Advice and Anti-Touting policies.
5. No fake reviews or engagement
Buying followers, buying comments, using bot networks, offering rewards for 5-star reviews, or suppressing honest negative reviews is prohibited and violates the FTC Rule on Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465).
6. AI-generated content
If a post is materially generated by AI (image, voice clone, deepfake, generated review), the Promoter must disclose it as AI-generated in addition to the paid-promotion label.
7. Take-down & enforcement
Metta Protocol Foundation may require immediate correction or removal of any non-compliant post, may claw back rewards, may terminate Promoter status, and may report material violations to platforms and regulators. Repeated violations result in permanent removal from the KOL and Ambassador programs.
8. Reporting
Report suspected undisclosed promotion, fake reviews, or endorsement violations to trust@mettaprotocol.app or via our Whistleblower channel.
